How much could solar reduce my bills by?
It depends on your usage, the system that fits your roof and whether you add a battery. A typical three-bed home with ten panels and a 6 kWh battery can cover the majority of its electricity. Fix my price shows you an estimate for your house.
Who will actually install it?
Our own team, based at Home Farm in Woolverstone. We don't subcontract domestic installs. The person who surveys your roof is the person you can ring afterwards.
Are scaffolding costs included?
Yes, for one roof aspect up to 6 m. If you need a second lift it's a clearly priced £600 add-on, shown in the builder.
How long does installation take?
A day for panels, one to two days with a battery. Scaffolding usually goes up the day before and comes down within the week.
Am I protected?
We're MCS certified, TrustMark registered and members of RECC, the consumer code, which protects your deposit and your workmanship warranty. Panels carry a 25-year warranty.
What's the process after I book a survey?
One of our surveyors visits for about an hour, confirms the design and the price, and you get a written quote. If you go ahead we book the install, handle the DNO paperwork and certification, and show you the app on the day.
